Road yo Hans tout We had a wonderful time on our road to Hana tour. The scenery was indescribably beautiful. Larry was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to give us a great experience, telling us the history and culture of the area as we went along the route. The food was delicious and plentiful. This tour was a high point of our trip.

Great trip We really enjoyed this. I did some research beforehand and glad we used Valley Isle Excursion. They provide a hot lunch, which was very good. We wanted to see black sand beach and lava tubes. They give you an hour there, which was great

Our day in Maui! This was my 60th birthday trip, and my daughter and I had a wonderful day thanks to Mr.. Glenn and Mahalo Tours! There was a group of 5 of us and we had a ball! Mr. Glenn was very personable and knowledgeable.

Larry was an amazing guide/driver. He has so much experience of the area, an expertise on the natural features and botany as well as an extensive knowledge of the history and fakelore of the region. My best tour ever! What a gracious guy!

Do not miss it!! We went on the rainiest day of the year - 10 inches of rain, land slides, trees down, etc. Our driver was super safe at avoiding any road issues (he has done this tour over 2900 times!! We still had a great time. the waterfalls were ROARING all the rain, so amazing. We saw the black sand and red sand beaches, ate at the place Gordon Ramsey says has the best hulu chicken. We were provided with snacks through out the tour, plenty of water and juice upon request.

Beautiful scenery Our tour guide and driver Glenn was fantastic. The fellow passengers were friendly. Beautiful scenery. Lunch was so-so. Tip: if you’re prone to motion sickness, take Dramamine, for very curvy road.

It rained to whole time we were on the trip, so we were not able to get good pictures, we were soaking wet most of the time. Its a good Thing ED kept it interesting with the amount of info he bonbarded us with, also his mastery of the road is definitely a plus, food was just OK, you can remove the pulled pork from the menu though, the transport though is not ideal for tall people.

An absolute highlight of our trip! We’re so happy we chose a guided tour — it was super relaxed compared to driving ourselves, and it meant we could really sit back and enjoy the incredible scenery. Our guide Lui was fantastic! He shared so many interesting stories about the country, its culture, and its history, took us to amazing viewpoints, and even introduced us to local people along the way. Such a fun, easy, and memorable experience — we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone! A big Thank You to Lui!

Not to be missed! The Hāna experience was not to be missed! Ed was absolutely amazing as a driver we felt completely safe and he was all about our comfort and well being. His rendition of the history of Maui was riveting and a huge highlight. As a guide he was top notch and so entertaining. We are privileged to have met such a delightful person and will treasure our time with him. The description of all the plants and the Ed version of Mauis history made the time in the car fly by. The carefully chosen spots were enthrallingly beautiful and the experience of swimming in the "rolling pig " waterfall was one of my personal top life memories! Thank you so much for providing for such an amazing day on a once in a lifetime trip!

Amazing day on The Road to Hana David was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who made sure we all enjoyed our excursion. We were able to complete our itinerary comfortably and were given ample choices on how much time we spent at each location.

Amazing tour, Louie was excellent! Louie was an absolute charm. He was the funniest, most kind, and loving person. He has so much knowledge about the island and the history. We spent 8 hours with him but it felt like 3 because we were having so much fun together. What a great experience!

Highly recommended! It was our first time in Maui and we had the most memorable trip to Hana with our guide and driver Louie. Louie is the most genuine, kind and funny guide, full of knowledge around Hawaiian culture and history and shared many personal entertaining stories. He made sure everyone was comfortable and it’s obvious he is well respected in his community. The huli huli chicken lunch cooked by locals was amazing!

Worth it! Road to Hana is by no means a short tour, and you will get your money’s worth. Just be prepared to spend all day traveling. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Maui and its history. All the time sitting while you drive around the winding mountain roads you will learn about Maui, its history, its residents, and the Hawaiian monarchy. Thumbs up.

Fun tour! We had a great time on our Road to Hana tour with Louie! Besides guiding us through the beautiful scenery, Louie told great stories and helped us get to know him and others on the tour with us. He even threw in a couple of extras along the way. Lunch at Huli Huli Chicken at Koki Beach was absolutely delicious! We have many fond memories from this tour.
