Combine all the highlights of Maui. You’ll start with a visit to the most well- known and beautiful gorge on the Valley Island, the Iao Valley. There you’ll visit one of Maui’s most striking sights, the Iao Needle, a 2,250-foot cinder cone pinnacle that pierces the clouds and dominates its lush surroundings. Iao Valley, is nothing less than mystical. Mark Twain called it "The Yosemite of the Pacific". The valley features the Iao Needle, a natural rock pinnacle presiding over the Iao stream and surrounded by walls of the Pu'u Kukui Crater. Lovely Kepaniwai Heritage Park celebrates the varied cultures of the people that immigrated to Hawai'i to work in the sugarcane plantations. Next stop is the Maui Tropical Plantation, where you’ll enjoy a fully narrated 40-minute tram tour through macadamia nut orchards, agricultural villages, sugar cane fields and flower gardens. Our final stop is the Maui Ocean Center, Aptly named “The Hawaiian Aquarium,” in this state-of-the-art marine park. You will be provided an up close view of Hawaiian Marine Life without getting wet! Experience spectacular live coral displays (the largest collection in the nation), enjoy playful swimming displays by Hawai‘i’s beloved green sea turtles, awe at close encounters with sharks, rays and more – while learning about Hawai‘i’s natural history and cultural heritage.
